Motia announced today that it has closed a $5 million round of financing

Pasadena, Calif - Led by Kodiak Venture Partners, the round also included investment by Axiom Venture Partners and Carrot Capital.

"The company’s products will certainly attract attention in the industry, especially as wireless technologies become increasingly sophisticated."

Motia is developing wireless semiconductors, chip sets and modules that vastly improve the performance of wireless services. The company will create new revenues for its OEM partners in high performance wireless markets.
